To be an urbanite
Went to town yesterday. It was the first warm spring Saturday of the year and the whole place was teeming with life.
It is at times like these I long back to an urbanite life, like in London many years ago. And fully knowing that it would be the worst and wrongest thng to do with the kiddies. I am sure I’d miss being able to hop on the bike and be out in the countryside in five minutes.
On the other hand, I guess it is healthy to want something that is unachievable. Oh well. Cant ‘t have it all!
Back to the roots: workplace
It’s been a while since I’ve sat here last. It feels good and right to have rejoined old fire department. It’s got nothing to do with one being better than the other. Anyone who doesn’t have a “home” as such probably will appreciate the importance of a pivotal point in life. For me, it matters more than I originally thought. Anyway, here I am today, again driving this fire engine. It felt really good.
