CDG
This trip to the US took me via Paris airport – another one that seems like a big mess in many respects. At least they didn’t lose my bag like Heathrow did back in June. Terminal E has got a nice feel about it, though.
Retrieving songs from an iPod
Starting a new job in October comes with a few changes, including giving up my MacBook Pro. Victoria now uses it, as I’ll be getting a Windows company laptop. Honestly, I don’t really care or mind, there are more important issues in life. “Home base” will be the iMac, which so far has primarly been used as a video editing machine.
The move includes all my music, so it’s iTunes library to hard disk to iMac, and I seem to have lost one fifth of all music. which seems to have been stored in various places prior to deletion. Here’s where senuti (iTunes backwards) comes in handy. It’s not straightforward, but does install flawlessly (osx 10.5) and does retrieve those missing songs from the iPod, which is pretty handy.
