Back to video. Nice.

London Experience

In between meetings last Tursday, I happened to stroll past the Barbican, which I really like because I like concrete. This chap gentleman comes out of the building, looks at me and asks me where I am from. What followed was a conversation about the Barbican and concrete architecture; finally, I asked who he was.

Turns out it was Sir John Tusa, MD of the Barbican. I suppose one could extrapolate some deep marketing lesson here (like showing genuine interest in what your customers think), but I’ll leave it there. Nice little London story, something to tell others about!

Welcome to Irakli West's personal pages on the Web. I am Danish, live close to Munich in Germany, and run FWnetz, an online magazine and training resource for firefighters. In real life, I am Regional Manager Northern Europe for Paratech, teach Heavy Rescue (it's fun, challenging and serves a good purpose) and try to learn more about USAR. I am a member of the Munich Volunteer Fire Department as well as @fire, a USAR and Wildfire NGO outfit.
