Digital People: Andy Bell
What do you do?
I founded and run Mint Digital. We harness the opportunites of the internet and deliver them for TV.
How do you live and work digitally?
All my work is online: designing sites, collaborating with colleagues overseas and lots and lots of email. After working online all day, I try to live offline to relax.
What's different about "onliners" today than, say, a few years ago?
It's now a mainstream activity to be open and sharing online. People are getting used to the web as a two-way medium.
Anything or anyone online that is of particular interest to you?
Similar sites to the ones that everyone is fascinated by: MySpace, YouTube, Del.icio.us, Last.fm. At Mint we are focussed on translating the brilliance of these sites into narrative-structured Web/TV crossover hits.
