Agency.com's Subway pitch

Agency.com's video about their Subway pitch.

The initial brief was to submit a five minute video of the management team. Instead (or on top of that) they posted a nine minute video about the pitch team and pitch process to YouTube.

Perhaps they shouldn't have mentioned the word "viral", as this is the one aspect that gets trashed badly, if Adfreak or agenturblog happen to be representative of the general mood. True to say, I don't think either that established old school internet agencies are where social innovation happens, but the video does evoke a certain familiarity reminding me of good times past.

If you're in the industry, it is worthwhile a watch. It's not boring, that's exactly how an average corporate video from such a company would look like. I suspect it isn't as much about winning the Subway account but rather self-promotion to potential clients and employees.
