Dynamics of Blogging
I guess the one big issue with blogging is to write articles that will generate both traffic and plenty of comments. As I keep finding out with Feuerwehr Weblog and also during my time with the trnd blog, it is hard to predict which articles will become more popular than others. Sometimes, I spend quite some time writing about something I think is interesting - and nothing happens. Then, there's the quick fired-from-the-hip post that sparks a huge discussion, many comments and trackbacks.
After one year of intensive blogging, being around #50 in the German blogging rankings (does that make me an A-list blogger?), I still can't predict which posts will become "superstars". Maybe that's a good thing :)
