Bad Marketing
I'm blogging about what happened in London over at Feuerwehr Weblog (blog for firefighters). I'm sorry for London, I'm happy that my family there is OK.
I wonder how difficult or easy it is to stop a marketing process. If I had anything running today, and if it was possible to put things on hold, I'd do it. For the simple reason that marketing is about eyeballs and "quality braintime". You're bound to lose that if your customers have their minds on something else. Further, I'd think that the willingness to do purchases takes a dip in such times.
And that's disregarding any piousness.
So I get this E-Mail from German bonus points system Payback, offering me a cheap stay in Munich for the Oktoberfest.
I am not in a festive drinking mood right now
I live in Munich and they know that
They plain suck.
